What is the Tomahawk No ShortCut Design™ approach?
At Tomahawk Trailers, the No ShortCut Design™ means that every aspect of our trailers is engineered for maximum durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Our trailers are built with 100% welded contact points for superior strength, and we use heavy-duty gauge steel for confident load-bearing capacity. The unique Slide-In Decking™ system provides easy access and a sleek look, while our wrap tongue design offers enhanced stability. We adhere to the highest industry standards, ensuring that every trailer is NATM certified. With premium components like Dexter Rockwell axles and Trailstar HD tires, your trailer is designed to last—no shortcuts, just quality craftsmanship.
How do I handle sales tax, titling, and registration for my trailer?
In Arkansas, sales tax is paid at the revenue office when you register your trailer. There is a $4,000 exemption, meaning you won’t pay sales tax on the first $4,000 of the purchase price. We provide a Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO) and a bill of sale, which you can take to your local DMV to complete the registration process. Title and registration requirements may vary depending on your state.
What types of trailers do you offer?
We offer a variety of trailers, including car haulers, equipment haulers, single and tandem axle utility trailers, and landscape trailers. Customization options are available for most models to fit your specific needs.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes, we work with several financing partners to offer flexible payment plans. Reach out to us for more details and to see which financing options work best for you.
Is there a warranty on your trailers?
Yes, all Tomahawk Trailers come with a limited warranty. We offer three (3) years of coverage on the primary structural components, such as the main frame, cross members, and sub-frame. Non-wearing components, like brakes and lights, are covered for one (1) year. Wear items such as tires, paint, and brake linings are not covered. For third-party components (such as axles, tires, and suspension), the original manufacturer's warranty applies. All warranty repairs must be pre-approved by Tomahawk Trailers.
Can I customize my trailer?
Absolutely! We offer a wide range of customization options, from custom lengths to additional features like trailer color, rub rails, winch mounts and upgraded components to meet your unique needs. Just ask us!
What are the lead times for custom trailers?
Lead times depend on current demand and the level of customization you require. We’ll provide an estimated completion date when you place your order.
Where are your trailers made?
All of our trailers are proudly manufactured in Sheridan, Arkansas, with a focus on expert craftsmanship, design, and premium quality components.
