At Tomahawk Trailers, we strive to contribute to the growth of our team, customers, and the community near and far. As always, our goal is to manufacture and provide superior trailers, but we do understand unexpected events can always take place. In these rare cases, this warranty guide provides important information about the warranty periods of our products and the components we purchase to use. Our goal is for this to be transparent, as we want you to easily find what you are looking for.

At Tomahawk Trailers LLC, we design our trailers to deliver many years of dependable service. However, we understand that unforeseen issues can arise. Please follow the steps outlined below to address any warranty concerns and get your trailer back in top condition.

Tomahawk Trailers LLC - Warranty Policy

1. Structural Coverage Our warranty covers the primary frame of your Tomahawk Trailer for three (3) years. This includes the main frame, cross members, railings, and sub-frame. Any damage resulting from overloading or improper use is not covered.

2. Component Coverage Non-wearing components are covered for one (1) year. Items subject to normal wear and tear, such as surface paint, flooring, bearings, hoses, and brake linings, are not covered under this warranty. This warranty excludes wear and maintenance items.

3. Third-Party Components Any third-party components, including but not limited to calipers, tires, axles, suspension, lights, brakes, wheels, and hydraulic pumps, are covered by their respective manufacturers' warranties.

4. Manufacturer’s Warranty Tomahawk Trailers LLC warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of manufacture or the date of purchase if the warranty is registered. This Limited Warranty is transferable from the original owner and is based on the original date of purchase.

5. Warranty Repairs and Service All repairs or service performed under this warranty must be preapproved by Tomahawk Trailers LLC. We will not be liable for any repairs or service conducted without prior written authorization. 

6. Warranty Exclusions This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to lack of maintenance or the use of incorrect oil or lubricants.
  • Damage caused by overloading, misuse, accidents, or improper maintenance.
  • Normal wear items, including but not limited to lubricants, light bulbs, and batteries.
  • Environmental damage, including corrosion from road salt, acid rain, hail, windstorm, lightning, floods, and acts of God.
  • Damage caused by the installation of incorrect or non-OE parts.

7. Warranty Limitations Tomahawk Trailers LLC is not responsible for damages caused by abuse, misapplication, or negligence. Exceeding the gross vehicle load rating will void all warranties. Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications will also void the warranty.

8. Transportation Costs Tomahawk Trailers LLC will not cover transportation costs to and from an authorized dealer, the Tomahawk Trailers LLC factory, or an approved repair facility. These costs are the responsibility of the trailer owner.

9. Disclaimers This Limited Warranty is provided in place of all other warranties, express or implied. No party, including authorized Tomahawk Trailers LLC dealers, is authorized to make additional warranties on behalf of Tomahawk Trailers LLC.

10. Dealer Responsibilities To file a warranty claim, the dealer must contact Tomahawk Trailers LLC within 15 days of being made aware of the defect. Preapproval is required for all warranty repairs. Photographic evidence and a Warranty Repair Estimate form must be submitted. Tomahawk Trailers LLC reserves the right to request the return of defective parts for evaluation.

11. Governing Law This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, USA. Any disputes arising from this warranty will be resolved in the courts located in Sheridan, Arkansas, USA.

All Warranty Work Must Be Pre-Approved:

To process these claims timely, follow the following steps:

  • Contact the dealer or Tomahawk Trailers will assess the problem and facilitate a warranty claim for coverage consideration along with pictures, serial numbers, and component tags.
  • The claim will be reviewed, and a decision will be made regarding corrective measures. Tomahawk Trailers LLC. will respond as soon as possible.

Important: Failure to comply with these steps can compromise any obligation Tomahawk Trailers LLC. has regarding any remaining warranty coverage. These steps assure fairness to the customer, our dealers, and Tomahawk Trailers LLC.

Notice: If you decide to do repairs without following Tomahawk Trailers LLC.’s procedure, know that you release Tomahawk Trailers LLC. from any obligation for reimbursement.
